This year’s Squad brings together a diverse group of beauty mavens with unique points of view, backgrounds, and interests. We’re beyond excited to see what the Squad accomplishes during their yearlong ambassador partnership with Sephora, and we’re looking forward to working with them every step of the way.

A Record-Breaking Year for #SephoraSquad

Our excitement for this year’s program was mutual, with this year’s applicants breaking several records. The Fohr team worked on reviewing over 9,000 applications to select the 70 final Squad members, including 55 new members and 15 launch partners. 

The 2022 #SephoraSquad includes a diverse variety of beauty lovers representing an extensive range of following sizes. Sephora can’t wait to collaborate with creators across various platforms and expertise, such as estheticians, hair stylists, professional makeup artists, fragrance gurus, TikTok beauty stars, and Twitch streamers.

With passion, diligence, and outstanding efforts, we saw our 2022 applicants accrue over 250,000 fan testimonials to prove how strong and engaged their online communities are.

What are Testimonials? 

Gathering Testimonials is one of the most unique and gratifying parts of the #SephoraSquad application process. In addition to written application responses, we ask applicants to gather Testimonials from their followers to showcase their impact on their communities.
