Account Manager - Sales

At Fohr, our sales team sits at the heart of all the work we do for our clients, who look to us to lead their influencer strategy as an extension of their teams. We're not just "sales people". The Sales team is made up of eight versatile marketers charged with driving revenue, growth and retention goals across our existing and new clients, as well as for the Fohr team as a whole. The Account Manager within the sales team will identify, qualify, pursue and win strategic and tactical new business, and create a smooth integration for our new clients into the agency.

Role and responsibilities
- Prospecting, generating new business. 
  • - Identify, qualify, assess and focus on new business and new project opportunities
  • - Conduct targeted marketing, outbound activities and intermediary engagement
  • - Leverage existing partnerships and look to develop new ones
  • - Provide strategic guidance and insight into influencer marketing and generate sales specifically from key brands and agencies
  • - Cultivate relationships with brand and agency contacts and clients to gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide solutions for their marketing and advertising goals
  • - Handle approaches and follow up on new business leads
  • - Quickly grasp clients’ motivations and needs, and establish a potential response
  • - Assist with credential/pitch presentation and complete RFP's
  • - Play key supporting role in sustaining account growth, diversification and profitability
  • - Play an influential role in managing client relationship health, client satisfaction, and sustained year-over-year client retention for his/her designated clients
  • - Use data to provide a sharp marketing perspective and add strategic value at every step of the creative process, on both new and existing clients.
  • - Oversee multiple accounts across our SaaS and Managed Campaign products.
  • - Work closely with Execution leadership to ensure flawless execution of programs across the account.
  • - Become versed in Fohr agency & office history, case studies and business/strategic direction
  • - Be an ambassador for Fohr and our values with clients and partners\

The ideal person:
  • - 4-6 yrs experience in a similar sales and new business development role. 
  • - Has experience managing client engagements at a creatively driven agency, a client-side marketer, a start-up, and/or a technology or media platform company
  • - Proven experience in new business generation.
  • - Is comfortable working amongst integrated teams in fast-paced, creative environment
  • - Exhibits passion and curiosity for digital marketing and emerging trends in influencer and social.
  • - Has proven to be a strong contributor to creating and delivering an effective presentation.
