Welcome to Fohr Ground: a podcast about personalities in the influencer space hosted by Fohr’s Marketing Director, Tim Jeffreys.

In episode 20, Tim is joined by Steffy, a content creator based in Long Island, New York. Her background is varied to say the least, including time as a visual merchandiser for J. Crew to managing the social media accounts for a plumbing company in NYC. Her passion for vintage clothing goes way back too—she actually supported herself by buying and selling her thrift store finds online. This practice helped hone her aesthetic and solidify her eye for design and style.

It was during a trip to Nicaragua that she had time to discover fashion blogs and was inspired to start one herself. The rest, as they say, is history. She actually began blogging during her time at a plumbing company and only began full-time soon after the birth of her son. He’s now two and a half years old.

On top of her eclectic career path, Steffy shares how her love of fall informs her aesthetic, what being a mother has taught her, as well as learnings she gathered from work, career, and day-to-day life. She also discusses how she maintains her signature style while avoiding being predictable. For longtime followers and fellow influencers, there’s something to learn from Steffy’s story about finding what works for her and creating content that gives value to other people.
