Welcome to Fohr Ground: a podcast about personalities in the influencer space hosted by Fohr’s Marketing Director, Tim Jeffreys.

Jera Foster-Fell is a fitness and lifestyle influencer born and based in NYC. She moved to Los Angeles for college and studied to be a graphic designer, soon moving to Boston after graduation to work. It was there she found herself in a dark period, reaching a turning point on April 4, 2015, when discovered a positive outlet for it all: Instagram and fitness. It was then she created an account and began documenting her fitness journey to hold herself accountable. Now, she does Instagram full time and has since zoomed out to talk about a wide range of topics from how she does her hair to advice on getting therapy.

This episode covers a lot of things: from how Jera inspires women by holding herself accountable to the rigorous process of failing to be a Soul Cycle instructor to finally making it. She’s especially cognizant of sharing her passion with others in hopes it will inspire them to get the most out of themselves.

It’s refreshing to hear she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Going from a shy and reserved person, she became someone who people look up to and aspire to be. And for the first time in Fohr Ground history, our guest sings a show tune.
