Welcome to our first Community Report of 2022! We are pleased to share this report highlighting Fohr community updates and our ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Community Updates: 

New Series: Negronis with Nord!

Influencers know what resonates with their followers. Brands know their product and how to sell it effectively. But we'll guess that neither party spends a lot of time trying to understand the business of influencer marketing. That's where this series comes in.

Our weekly newsletter for influencers highlights industry news and community updates. We know that while influencers are busy building brands and engaging with their communities, dozens of articles on the future of this industry, and their revenue potential, are published. Fohr Community Facebook Group: Welcome to DonYe Taylor!

We are so excited to announce that Fohr has brought on DonYe Taylor as our Director of Creator Initiatives. Within this role, she will be managing the Fohr Community Facebook Group moving forward.

After working with Donye for almost two years on a number of education and strategy projects we are so excited and blessed to officially have her bring her experience and passion for all things marketing and influencers to this new role. She will be responsible for rolling out new creator tools, deepening educational resources, and being an advocate for the 180,000 influencers who make up our community and the tens of thousands more who will join this year.

Since starting our Fohr Community Facebook group for influencers over a year ago, we’ve grown to nearly 2,000 members. The group is composed of seasoned and new influencers alike and is a place for sharing advice + resources and building relationships within the space. Join the Fohr Community on Facebook.

These presentations are an opportunity for the Fohr team to learn something new and gather to discuss topics related to work, the influencer marketing industry, and more. Recent topics included:

  • Managing your finances with Facet Wealth. Facet Wealth is one of the fastest-growing financial services companies providing personalized advice for all the financial decisions that impact your life.

Fohr Good: Brooklyn Book Bodega

We’re back! As our company volunteer initiative to give back to the community, the Fohr Team sorted and stamped ~40x boxes of books that will be donated to local schools, churches, community centers, and more. The local non-profit Brooklyn Book Bodega has a mission to increase the number of 100+ book homes for kids 0-18 in NYC.

Fohr Good: Concern Worldwide Run 

Colleen Kelly is the CEO of Concern Worldwide an amazing non-profit organization that is working to help people in crisis around the globe. Every year, they hold a 4-mile spring run in Central Park to raise money for the organization. Afterward, they host a raffle and brunch. This spring we joined the run as a team, FohrGood.

Black History Month

  • We hosted speakers Lenny Williams and Jeff Dess, founders of Trill or Not Trill Inc. They specialize in providing organizations with innovative strategies with culture competent solutions. 
  • We also hosted a Fohr virtual coworker ‘Family Feud’ game to learn more about Black history and culture.
  • On our Fohr Instagram page we highlighted several team members to talk about how they feel they’re contributing to Black History through their work at Fohr. Check out the highlights here.

Women’s History Month

  • “Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead.” Our team is dedicated to making influencer marketing a more diverse, equitable and inclusive industry for all women. On Instagram, we shot a little video supporting the #BreaktheBias campaign. Check it out.
  • In honor of Women’s History Month, we also shared this blog post that showcases the power women have in influencer marketing.
